Why get an independent inspection
Used campers often hide expensive problems that are difficult to spot during a normal viewing.
A professional inspection can reveal:
• Hidden water leaks and damp damage
• Electrical, solar or gas system issues
• Poor DIY repairs or unsafe installations
• Engine or mechanical warning signs
Knowing the real condition of the vehicle helps you avoid costly surprises and negotiate the right price.
Typical inspection €150-€200 • 60-90 minutes • Report before you buy
What we check
• Signs of water ingress and damp (moisture meter testing)
• Rooflights, seals and exterior body condition
• Electrical system, batteries and solar installations
• Gas appliances function check (not a certified gas safety inspection)
• Water system, pumps and plumbing
• Evidence of poor DIY work or unsafe modifications
• OBD engine diagnostics and warning codes
• Paint thickness & general check for accident repairs
• Signs of rodent damage to wiring or insulation
• Interior condition, furniture and structural issues
• Previous repairs, modifications and general workmanship
If issues are discovered, we can also advise on repair costs and help you negotiate the price with the seller.
How the inspection works
1. Send us the listing
Share the advert or location of the camper, motorhome or caravan you are considering.
2. Choose the inspection option
We can inspect the vehicle on your behalf, join you when you view it, or meet you at a dealer to check several vehicles.
3. Full on-site inspection
We check the camper thoroughly at the seller’s location, usually taking around 60–90 minutes per vehicle.
4. Clear feedback before you buy
You receive photos, findings and an honest opinion on the condition of the vehicle.
If faults are found, we can estimate repair costs and help with price negotiation.

Travel
The base inspection price applies within the local area around Conil and across Cádiz province.
For inspections further away, travel costs may apply depending on distance.
Inspections are also available across Seville, Marbella, Málaga and other parts of southern Spain by arrangement. We regularly travel further for the right vehicle.
Final price depends on vehicle size, inspection time and travel distance, and is always fixed upfront - no surprises.
Inspection scope
The inspection provides an independent opinion based on visible checks and diagnostic tools available on site.
It is not a certified mechanical or gas safety inspection, and hidden defects may not always be detectable without dismantling.
